Optimus Silva receives the first Agro-Up award from Telefónica.

Optimus Silva, the Dendron Soluciones department that offers environmental decision-making improvement services, receives the first prize in the ‘Agro UP! Grow Your Ideas’ challenge launched by Telefónica, through Open Innovation Campus, and the business mentor Menttoriza Hub for its innovative contribution to solving complex environmental issues.

This program culminates eight months of activities with the Demo Day showcasing the best and most disruptive projects among the 38 submitted, which took place on June 27, 2024, at La Cabina, Telefónica’s technological inspiration space. The second place went to Ecoai Lab, a Valencian project focused on automating agricultural production predictions and optimizing water usage.

Special recognitions were given to a project from Cuenca, Tecno Bosque, which uses drones and advanced technology to apply fire-retardant substances for preventing fires in forest and urban environments; and also a special mention to Abastores, a Toledo-based startup, whose proposal features an online marketplace for agricultural raw materials.
